Fisher Strategic Marketing Services LLC is headed by Terry Fisher, a private practice business growth marketing consultant. Terry’s experience encompasses over 30+ years of sales and marketing related experience from both the client and agency side of the business. From establishing in-house marketing departments, to launching new companies and training sales forces, her varied background incorporates the skills needed to create successful business growth marketing programs

Fisher is known as a change agent, instrumental in assessing organizational needs and working with companies to facilitate changes needed to redirect or grow their business. A quick study, she works with a variety of industries and is effective in problem-solving and refocusing corporate efforts.

In addition to business growth strategic planning, Terry utilizes her production background to develop the tools needed for market image and position. From annual reports to corporate videos, she assembles and coordinates creative teams of copywriters, designers, photographers, and film directors, combining their efforts into a final product that delivers results.

Before beginning in private practice, Terry worked for over 12 years in the financial and banking industry as a senior-level marketer from both the client and advertising agency side, assisting in mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, new product development, and designing sales cultures and incentive programs.

Most recently, before re-establishing her first business growth-consulting firm which closed in 2005 due to Hurricane Katrina, Terry headed University New Orleans’ overall marketing and communications efforts as the Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications, overseeing a staff of 20.  She supervised the Offices of Publications, Creative Services, Web Communications, and Public Affairs to develop and implement university-wide marketing strategies for communicating with various university constituents.

Terry has a M.F.A. degree in Communications from Southern Methodist University and a B.A. in Communications from Loyola University New Orleans. She taught Entrepreneurship and Oral Communications as an adjunct professor at the University of New Orleans, and Oral Communications and Public Relations at the University of Phoenix for over nine years.
